Biography
Dr. Rasouli received her MD degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Her internal medicine residency training was at Michigan State University, Lansing, MI and she completed her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR, in 2002. Dr. Rasouli joined the faculty at the University of Colorado, Denver in 2009. She is a physician and a translational researcher at the University of Colorado and Eastern Colorado Veterans Health Care System. Dr. Rasouli has special interest in the management and treatment of patients with diabetes and metabolic disorders associated with obesity. Her research interests include studying the pathophysiology of insulin resistance particularly molecular mechanisms involved in adipose tissue inflammation and lipotoxicity associated with obesity and insulin resistance. In addition, Dr. Rasouli is leading several clinical trials to investigate novel therapeutic interventions in the management of diabetes.

Dr. Adina Zeidler is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Biography
Dr. Curtis Triplitt is currently at the Texas Diabetes Institute in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Curtis Triplitt is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Diabetes as well as holding the appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy with the Clinical Pharmacy Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Curtis Triplitt is an investigator in multiple research studies in the field of diabetes, has published several book chapters on diabetes, and in such peer-reviewed journals as Diabetes Care, Diabetes Spectrum, Pharmacotherapy, and Drugs. He also clinically manages and educates people with diabetes with an endocrinologist, and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. In his role as Secretary on the governor-appointed Texas Diabetes Council, Dr. Curtis Triplitt has been involved with the development of multiple clinical treatment algorithms for the prevention and treatment of diabetes in the State of Texas.
